Sample data

The kit archive includes a starter catalog at samples/nordic/. The pack theme is nordic, which matches officialImportTheme in this kit. Import it after the local sandbox is running, or after the first Amplify deploy, so the storefront has products, banners, and policy pages.

Each folder contains official-pack.json. The theme value must match this store. A pack from another theme is rejected. Field rules for a pack you build yourself are in Data preparation and import.

Copy in the sample uses en, zh-TW, ja, ko, de, fr, and es. Storefront prefixes hk, jp, and kr map to zh-TW, ja, and ko. Enable those languages under System → Storefront Languages. See Storefront locales.

The default logo and favicon also live under public/frontend/nordic/other/ until Site Settings replaces them. Feature banners and page layout come from blocks/ and placements/.

Import

site-settings/example.md documents every accepted field. The importer reads data.json only.

Shipping templates and promotions bind by SKU and product slug. Import them after productData/. A later import of an existing shipping template keeps its rates and the current pickup switch, and updates SKU binding.

After import

ItemWhere to set it
Store name and public URLSystem → Site Settings
SMTP and IMAPSystem → Email Settings
Stripe, PayPal, and MockSystem → Payment Settings
Currency and taxSystem → Currency & tax

Sample prices stay in USD. After the store currency changes to EUR or HKD, the storefront uses the USD amount until those variant prices are edited or the pack is imported again with the target currency key.

Next step

Set which of these languages are public in Storefront locales.
