Overview and deployment journey
Welcome to the deployment phase. Now that you understand the core philosophy behind Fatleon, this guide outlines the roadmap for taking your source code and launching a high-performance commerce system on your own AWS infrastructure.
The entire setup process is designed to be streamlined, taking you from raw code to a fully operational, production-ready store in just a few clear steps.
The deployment journey
Here is the high-level path you will follow to get your store up and running:
| Step | Phase | What you will do | Continue |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Prerequisites | Set up your essential developer tools and cloud accounts (GitHub and AWS). | Prerequisites |
| 02 | Domain and email | Secure a custom domain and a business email provider for store notifications. | Domain and email |
| 03 | Repository setup | Unpack the source code and initialize your private version control repository. | Unzip and repository |
| 04 | Cloud deployment | Connect your repository to AWS Amplify Gen 2 and trigger the automated build. | Launch to Amplify |
| 05 | Domain and access | Point your own domain at the store, and optionally password-protect it while you finish setup. | Custom domain and security |
| 06 | Admin claiming | Access your live domain, initialize your admin account via /setup, and start configuring your store. | Admin overview |
